The TGV Railway Station is located in the heart of the city within walking distance to the Cité des congrès (5mn from Sortie Sud) and at one stop by the tramway line 1 - Stop "Duchesse Anne - Château" (Sortie Nord).
From "Sortie Sud", the "Cité des congrès" is well indicated (follow signs).
Nantes is connected to Paris (Gare Montparnasse) by 23 daily TGV (2h00). Nantes Railway station is also connected by direct TGV, to Charles de Gaulle AIrport TGV Railway station in 3h10. By direct TGV, Nantes is also connected to Lille (4h00), Lyon (4h35), Marseille (5h40), Strasbourg (6h00), Montpellier (6h20)
After a connection in Paris - Gare du Nord, Nantes is connected to Bruxelles (4h20), London (6h00), Amsterdam (6h40), Cologne (6h45)
How to purchase discount tickets ?
If you book your train tickets between 1 month and 1.5 months before the conference you can get special rates "Leisure" with reductions of 25-35% with respect to the base rate (subject to availability). These tickets can be exchanged.
If you book your train tickets 3 months before the conference (at the opening of bookings) you can get special rates "Prem's" with reductions up to 50% with respect to the base rate (subject to availability). These tickets are non-refundable.
Nantes Region is connected to Paris (Motorway A11) in 3h45, Bordeaux and Toulouse (Motorway A83) in 3h15 and 5h30 respectively, Brest (Highway RN165) in 3h00 and Rennes (Highway RN137) in 1h00 through a motorway and highway network linked to the city through an external ring road "Boulevard périphérique".
The directions "Nantes Centre", then "Gare SNCF-Sud",then "Cité des congrès" have to be followed .
